We've always (well most of us) have been cautious, but this is the first I'm hearing about any of even the possibility of some of the regular poster being trolls in plain sight. Outside of perhaps Beaver and Bubba.

I don’t understand this love for tee as an OC.
I have several friends who are fans and donors of USC and have been told numerous times that Tee is not that well respected out in LA. The consensus is most don’t want him coaching there.
I fear it’s more love of a vfl and nostalgia than sound judgment. Imho

Did anyone ever figure out beavers reference to a Stalking Horse a couple days ago?

I think it has sometbing to do with racehorses, like how some are called frontrunners, I think some are called stalking horses. I may be wrong, but I've heard the term up here in Kentucky before.

UT has had a real interest in Gruden for years. Posters can hint at all kinds of things knowing this. If JG doesn't accept, "doesn't make them wrong". If he accepts, they're "legends".

None of that should bring you down. UT sounds more than ready to be serious in fb again (no VN insiders necessary to see that). JG may be serious about still having coaching fever. Very well could happen and it has nothing to do with anyone's *sources.

There are 3 or 4 people whose words I pay more attention to here but as far as straight up "this is what's going on", with no cryptic bs, Stonecold is the only one that just called his shot and was perfectly clear about it and how he knew.

Once again, people trolling doesn't lessen our chance on getting a coach.

Amen. I am all for Gruden, but Patterson is the antithesis of Butch. Not the smoothest, used car salesman-like talker, but a real down in the grass, Xes and Oes football coach. He would be a breath of fresh air after Butch.

My first introduction to struggling with Tennessee football. Old enough to remember the likes of Jimmy Streater, Lee North, and Roland James.

And by the time I entered the University of Tennessee in 1988, I was well prepared for the miserable season to come.

That being said, the Annex was a good place to try to forget that season.
