It's slow because Currie has finalized the deal with Gruden yesterday. He's not going to leak anything out because that would ruin the announcement date. It was supposed to be after the Vandy game, but may be moved forward to an earlier date. Someone stated the 20th Monday after the LSU game.

Carter is a better poster than 99% on here, and has been around for a long time. It would be better for our collective sanity to have more rational, level-headed posters around here. :hi:

No, I don't like his opinion because after seeing him post over a period of time here and tos it is clear he no longer has information but gets off on people constantly asking for his opinions, etc. Once upon a time he did have inside sources, he no longer does. Any thing he gets now is so far down the line it's worthless. I think he listed jimmy hyams as one of his sources once

I think the official announcement may come Monday
Night during the NFL game. Then next tuesday the presser to introduce him at UT.
No inside info for this, the timing just makes sense given where we are today. Its going to be hard to keep a lid on this for 11 more days to get to the monday or tuesday after Vandy.
Look for any new "real" info to be very scarce from here on out. But in my opinion, no "real" news is good news.

I’m beyond 100% sure on the gag order going out. Which explains why VQ hasn’t given any information out that is worth 2 cents.

Now on the date before Vandy game. It makes the most sense because that would be an amazing opportunity to get recruits in for an official visit to see a sold out Neyland for the final home game. It was either last week or Monday of this week that Finebaum said he was planning on going to LSU game.

It was definitely before most of the Grumors ramped up so maybe he’s just checking in a few days early.

The longer this drags the less i think there's anything actually happening. We went through this in 2012, now there is more info and credible info in 2017.

I totally expect us to roll out with Mike Norvell in two weeks.
