Whats up night shift? Been working some lurking some tonight. From what I gather things have gotten a little bi-polar in here tonight. Some ups and some downs.

I still doubt it but one thing does look for certain.

I hate Comcast net just drops and take 30 mins every time to come back. Doesn't Comcast know 30 is like 30 years during Grumor season

That plan was in place previously and R.Sanders was being groomed to eventually succeed Fulmer.We had 3 alumni on the coaching staff and a few more in quality control and recruiting.That's how our boosters prefer it. It would be ideal to get Tee Martin in the fold or JB Cooter to groom to succeed Gruden. Clausen is coaching HS in Ca. and he may come in and start at the bottom.

Kevin Steele Auburn's current DC would be a dynamic fit for UT immediately. He played for UT and worked as a GA under Majors. I would guess that the defense has Gruden concerned at the moment because he'd like to have those coordinators in place for recruiting purposes and it's possible that several of them are coaching at the moment.

Two scenarios.

One - Gruden signed and it will leak before the Candy game and everyone will party.

Two - He didn't accept and the AD is not saying anything while he goes after next name on his list. Even this won't last long because Gruden will finally and publicly squash it. (edit to remove stringing us along comment)

So either way it's soon. Enjoy the ride. Buckle up and hope for the best.

I disagree with the AD stringing us along. He's not releasing any statements til its done and even warned not to believe anything so this can't be placed on him.

I think everyone is worried it’s 2012 again. Idk....something just feels off with the last 48 hours. Hope I’m wrong.

Maybe string along is too harsh. Not saying anything since he is not done yet and on to next name better?

The Hargis thing on Finebum actually made my confidence level go up. Hargis is legit, I know he took a lot of criticism in 2012 but I'm pretty sure he was dead on then too.

I agree and think he was too but I believe JAV said we’ll know in 12-18 hours but you had former players putting stuff out and it Contradicts what JAV is saying. Not to mention BCarter showing and raining on everyone’s parade. So it’s definitely been bi-polar.

This thread will put you on medication that's for sure. Back in 2012 I was really on the fence mainly because I was new in this thread didn't know who the true insiders were etc... When Hargis came out with what he said back then I immediately bought in. I take a lot of the same approach now. I pay attention to all the "insiders" but try to rely more on the information from the people I know. No offense at all to all the OGs I really appreciate what they bring. I even enjoy the Nancy Drew mystery the Beav has going on lol.

Haha....I totally agree. I’m a cynic by nature so it doesn’t help my case but just like 2012 I still believe.....soon
