To be honest, no one knows the exact day of announcement. As of now here I’s where things stand. He has signed a MOU but not the actual contract. Most believe it will get done but there are still a few details to be ironed out. He wants to know every detail before putting pen to paper. He is definitely reaching out to potential staff members and won’t sign til he knows whom is on board. Several have given him the answer already. It will be a VFL flavored staff. I’m told Sunday is day we need final decision, looks like Patterson is plan B. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a Monday announcement but it could be any day between now and then if things get worked out quicker. Everyone still feels really good this will get done. Keep the faith and go big orange!

Urban Meyer publicly denied rumors of him to OSU 5 days prior to the announcement. His own agent released a press statement on the morning of his announcement that UM wasn’t going to OSU.

Don’t get hopes up/down based on this interview.

Me too, but while UT has been flirting with Gruden, Florida is about to hire Chip Kelly. If Gruden says no to UT and Florida gets Kelly we are so freaking SCREWED!

I'm still hesitant to go all in again about Gruden but I'm damn close!After I read the article on BR I thought here we go again! Came over to the Gruden thread and felt better. Only thing I can't figure out is why the need for misinformation being put out there?

I totally believe the university is doing everything in their power to get Gruden this time. If he doesn't sign, it's on him. Hopefully, Patterson or someone good is next on the list and they will sign, because I am worried about Kelly too.

Do not want PJ Fleck, Bobo or Satterfield up against Saban and Kelly every year.

I think I’ve figured it out. Clearly, everyone that says Gruden is coming is in the know, while the ones saying it isn’t happening are simply trolling.

Gruden on Mike and Mike on Wednesday mornings. Jon is a classic rock fan. They have people send in song suggestions and they play a couple of seconds of a certain one and Jon comments on it. Then they talk football.
