After today, I just don't feel confident. In my opinion, it all comes down to how he acts tomorrow during Mike and Mike. You know he'll be asked and this will probably be the first time he's been flat out asked about UT's opening. What I'll be looking for:
1) if he's asked, does he avoid it or give cryptic answers? If so, my confidence gains.
2) if he's asked, does he straight up answer it with a no? If so, I'll believe it and know we aren't getting Gruden.
3) is he asked at all? This will be telling, as in 2012 he was asked and flat out said he won't be doing it. (If I recall correctly buy someone can correct me here)
4) does he even show up on the show? If he doesn't, then this will also be telling and improve my confidence; mainly because he's always on there and it's too odd of timing for him to not be on the show.
This is just my two cents on the issue. After everything coming out today and the flip-flopping we're starting to see, I think his morning interview will be our best bet at gauging where we stand with Gruden.

We truly won't know until Currie announces a presser and shows us who he reeled in. JG could deny tomorrow and still come. Ala Saban, and pretty much every coach that gets asked that question if if they're going to *insert school*.

Lot's of back and forth. Apparently Gruden has specific requirements for staff and that the deal may hinge on that.

Also some interesting back and forth on preferred whiskey...

I've been told by my grandson, the term is now referred to as "ghosting". "Lurking" is old school terminology.

Ghosting is when you talk to a romantic partner for a while then just quit talking and disappear, block number, etc.

I am now more worried than a couple of hours ago with Pill's post and what AV has just said. This is not done, there are issues, and he could still say no/back out. I just wish if he wants this job he would sign and then work out the details- I've never heard of a coach being hired and they already have their staff in place. It sounds great certainly but here it's cause for concern.
