No prob...... I'm with you in that I don't understand why people have to come in here and ish on what we want. We want the best for TN football. Gruden is. Period.

When I played baseball every swing I took was meant to launch the freakin' ball over the fence. Coaches had to come out of the dugout to the batter's box to unscrew me from the ground for the next pitch.

That's what I want TN's AD to do........ Swing for the fences. And that's Gruden.

Go big or go home......

Man some people have a bad case of the sourass and can't stand to see people happy.

It's ok, when Gruden is hired you can sulk in your corner. The rest of will be happy and we will be winning. Get on the Gruden express

yeah, it's hilarious.
that list don't mean anything to anybody, but the crowd loves it.

only reason i put people on ignore is to be able to sift thru this mountain of a thread more easily. don't have to wade thru trolls, arguments, and other riff raff. after this is all over, i'll un-ignore everyone and keep lurking on volnation.

He is outstanding. A super awesome dude too. Very genuine. Him, lee and Garth are the most genuine guys in music... biasely speaking

Most everybody in here do not want simply better than butch, or a would be a good/decent coach. We want a home run, or at least for UT to try to knock it out of the fence and show a commitment to winning.

I get it and not trying to be disrespectful to you, but to me thats the type of attitude coach patterson was refering to with "win the press conference." My opinion, we need a coach that is proven to field a fundamentally sound football team. The rest will take care of itself, as the school has alot to sell. Not sure who that is, if i did id be the ad. A home run like Gruden would be great. I just think this line of think in this thread, sets many people to be upset with anyone we hire.

i guess i still have memories of his clemson defense in the orange bowl against (i think it was) west virginia. gave up 70 or something.

he's probably better than that, just like i think shoop is better than what he's shown at ut.

not trying to open that can of worms either.
