The only question I have, is how did he get the date of Butch being fired correct?

How hard is it to predict he would be fired after the definite loss of Mizzou?

It's not like it's a 1/365 shot. If he was gonna get fired during the season, it was gonna be on a Sunday after a loss. Doesn't take Nostradamus.

True. I can agree to that point. There are some. But the shelf life for an NFL player isn’t drastically longer than a college player. 4 yrs vs 8 yrs maybe. I am excluding QBs and Kickers since they can play into their 40s. Most RBs only last until 30. Lineman are too far away from that. Of course there are exceptions. Julius Peppers comes to mind. That guy has been playing DE for what feels like forever. He is the exception though. In the end, you may have 4-5 tips on a 53 man roster who are veteran and leaders.

Yeah, sure that makes a big difference though. Even at college, just look at the difference a player like Al Wilson can make.

im not sure which one it was in 2012 but it was either Jon or his agent that denied the reports of interest to coach at UT and quoted saying it was "laughable", nethier Jon or his agent has denied or addressed any of the reports that's out now and there is way more out now than there was ever in 2012,as far as reaching out to a potential staff you would think he would at least address that report but he hasn't,that speaks really loud to me

I Never said he WROTE the song. I just gave that song as a hint and mislead. But he did perform on the CMAs and yes the initials are M.R but it's not who you all are thinking. I will not reveal my source at this time. So if you want to think I'm FOS that's fine, but I've been right with all I've said so far. My source is pretty dang reliable.

But when you say it was a joke does cause a credibility issue. You may know things going on and we appreciate good info. Just don't lose credibility because it is comical to you. Some of us here don't know anyone and depend on a few here to keep us informed of what is going on. I hope you can be one of those people that we can depend on to bring good info.

You since that, because you are purposely misinterpreting what i am saying to prove some point. I originally made this point because Gruden is unproven in all aspects of college football, except knowledge of play on the field. That is an absolute fact.

I get that the Gruden nuts on here are uncapable of handling any post made that isnt absolute worship of Gruden but my original point is 100% true.

I’m not disagreeing with the fact that Gruden will be behind the power curve in the college game. Never states that he wouldn’t. He would have to assemble a proficient staff while he adjusts to the college game. That’s a fact. There are many more rules about recruiting and running the football program that he will have to pick up on quickly. I was just speaking to the point of managing personalities. I think you misinterpret my intentions. Just trying to engage in conversation.

New odds in.

SOON...

Mike Norvell. Please God, no!

Absolutely..... Mr. Shoop, I'm looking at you.

I don’t understand some people. I could give a list of negatives about any candidate. Some folks just want to be negative for negativity’s sake.

If people can’t see the benefit of having a guy like Gruden come to Tennessee, then there’s nothing I can do for them.
