I'm hearing good things from my friend in the AD - he doesn't have any specific info but said that the past couple of days have been the most enjoyable days he has had at work since he started. He also mentioned a lot of commotion in and around the office, as to be expected. The funniest thing he said was a TV was turned to MNF last night and it is rarely on anything but Vols promo or SEC network videos.

Following that Mike & Mike segment in 2012 was one of the better moments on this site. People were losing their minds breaking down every word Gruden said. Even when asked and he said "no" it didn't stop the conspiracy theorists from weighing in.

Let's remember that babyvol said "may" be happening Thursday.

I really hope for his sake he learned his lesson from 2012. He's no troll, and he definitely has sources. But his sources are only on one side. It will take multiple sides to come together to get this thing done. I have growing confidence that it could actually happen this time. I think our fanbase deserves it. This place will go nuts.

He did nothing to shoot down the rumors with those quotes. You could add the sentence I may take the UT coaching job without making any of the quotes any less accurate.

To be clear I think everyone is dying for it to be Gruden, but as you know we remember how much we were led to believe in 2012 by this board that it was. Now here we are again. You know the saying 'fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me'? This pretty much how I feel right now. So please let some of these rumors be true, but not fault the people for not wanting to be brunt by rumors a second time. Maybe if this thread did a better job of recognizing why some people are not getting on the train and that not getting on train doesn't mean they don't want Gruden. It just means they don't trust the internet.

I have been here all the time and read this thread carefully .... I do because I HOPE for Gruden, but was burnt in 2012 and I AGREE with most of your post..

Especially about the part that those "in the know" so to speak refuse to recognize the difficulties we who were stung the last time have accepting "Every Post" on the internet at face value verses what we are told by people we know
