I noticed the other night during the phone interview, Gruden went out of his way to say the ESPN contract is an open ended contract. I guess that could mean many things, I just remember him making it a point to mention it.

I don’t think they will remove him until MNF season ends in December, but he can announce that he won’t be returning. ( although it has been rumored that ESPN is selling their MNF rights anyway)
