Well, "my source" just told me the Hal Mumme deal is not happening, he is going to Florida. Thus, Currie is meeting with Butch today to discuss contract extensions and expectations will be it is for a long term plan (10 yrs.) with Dooley coming back as the head coach in waiting...just sharing what I have been told.

Did a test about a year ago...drove from my home in Lebanon to downtown Nashville and back, mostly on I-40 but on Hwy 109 at the Lebanon end, and downtown streets in Nashville as well.

The whole way, counted car decals, vanity plates, anything that gave an indication of team loyalty.

The Vols won that count by a score of something like 30 to 2 to 1 to 1 to 1 to 1. The 2s and 1s were Vandy, Kentucky, Bama, Georgia, Florida, etc. Even the Titans only got a few hits.

Nashville is a Volunteers town. No doubt about it.

And, as a co-axiom, the Vols are not a Knoxville or East Tennessee team...they are Tennessee's college team. Period.
