So it's not more sensible to drop a little good info if your an insider rather than say he's meeting with Tampa?

The only answer is Gruden. Anything else and all the people involved in the process are going to come out drenched in stench. There will be no acceptable spin.

The best answer in a lot of peoples minds is gruden. But it’s not the only answer.

Lots of great options. Butch is a clown and was still able to sniff 10 win seasons but found ways to systematically come up short.

A guy without his problems wins the east the last 2 years and probably beats bama in 2015.

I think Frost is a very good coach his resume is fantastic but I don't think we get him. I think he goes to Florida because the recruiting can be done in state that is part of what he likes about UCF.

So frustrating every time this thread is going in one direction, dto always finds the best time to "throw out some vague info" that is contrary to that direction, regardless of how insignificant it is. Why? He is now the most important person on volnation.

What's the point. The info is useless. "Maybe a hurdle". Tampa might be contacting him? It's been the mainstream news for two weeks that Tampa is talking to gruden. Who gives a crap?

Gruden takes ut job or he doesn't. He takes the Tampa job or doesn't.

Why say what we already know as new info. Because a "insider" said it. If you can't be much more specific, this is all about attention. Creating doubt with known hurdles in hiring gruden at this specific time is bs. Spill it with specifics or keep it your self. Otherwise, it's so vague and bleeds ego boosting

And his QB camp. He won't be able to run that if he were coach at Tennessee. Pretty sure that would be an NCAA violation, but per the Corona contest he is obligated to do it next spring. I'm sure there is a workaround for that tho.

I would put more stock in VN insider info if I knew how close to the circle of power they really were. As it is, you have have to take their opinions and impressions as they come and give them as much weight as you see fit.

I wonder how close our top insider really is? 3rd hand info maybe? I will say I really give credence to Atlanta VOL and it is my belief that RockTopSC is very reliable and informative.

Atlanta Vol has still been silent, correct? I think, or hope, that we'd hear from him if something has potentially changed.

I'm just trying to keep my hopes up.

For the people who are bringing information they’ve heard and believe to be of importance, I️ know there are many who appreciate what you bring.. don’t understand the pitchforks in here, these guys are bringing what they’re hearing, no one is claiming to be John Currie himself.

This same thing happened in 2012...when we didn't get Gruden a bunch of whiny *****es all went off on DTO and Boro like it was their fault that we missed out when all they did was bring info that they were getting and try to keep us in the loop and some of us are thankful that they are bringing what info they share.
