No kidding. So far, the East is 2-10 this year against the West.

This could end up being one of the worst-imbalanced years in two-division SEC history, tied with 2015 (2-13) and not far behind 2010 (2-17).

I'm with ya and I was pulling for them Dawgs :cray:

(lol)
Don't help Notre Dame either :eek:lol:

Did I say that?

Butch recruited top 10 classes here and didn’t win.

I’m not comparing Butch to Gruden but coaching at College Level in the SEC and having not coached in 10 years, it’s unknown what he could do.

I’m all for the hire, it’ll bring plenty of top recruits here, I enjoy Gruden Camp and think he would be great but I am also level headed and think about the what if’s as well and just thought maybe a base of 10.2 would be stupid to do at first. It’s been brought to my attention that this was with incentives which is how it should be.

We’ve made a bunch of stupid decisions, WHAT if Gruden didn’t work and we paid the man 10 million, all I was saying.

I want Gruden and have not like Butch since year 2 and hope we get him

I get what your saying but your playing the what if game . Here let me show you how that works... “ what if we get Gruden at 10.2 per. At the end of 5 years we have 4 national championships with the last three years having the number one recruiting classes and chuckie come to the AD and says I need an extension plus another million a year ... what would you do?

I’ve also seen speculation that it may include salary for assistants, but I’m not positive who said that.
I was told the base offer would be in the 7.5 million range. Incentives / bonuses for reaching / winning the division, conference, national championships could push the earnings in the range of 10.2 to 10.5 million. That being said, even though I trust the person who told me this, anything you are told, read, or hear second handed should be taken with a grain of salt. Bama's model has proven one thing. If you win consistently like they have, paying big money upfront, will come back to you multiple times over.
