Here ye here ye. I actually agree that paying over $10 million may be a bit too much, but I'm ok with it because that means we are serious about winning. Also, I understand the argument that he's never been a college head coach or really had much college experience at all. I think pointing to his NFL record is comparing apples to oranges. The one thing I know is that Gruden has one of the best football IQs in the game. Plus he's just a football guy.
At Tennessee he would surround himself with the best coaches to develop our players and have our team prepared to win. So while I understand why some people are weary of Gruden himself, you all should be excited because he's smart enough to surround himself with proven winners and actually allow them to do their job to put our program in the best position to win.
