Not sure what to make of this, but both of my “sources” have gone dead silent since midweek. I’ve been very cryptic in my few posts so as not to expose them. I’ve refused to post anything unless these 2 completely unrelated people tell me the same thing. Just very odd that they have both gone completely silent.

I don't listen to WNML anymore, but I would take a Roger call all day to the regs that I assume still call Jimmy and John.

In fairness Kiffin was one of the worst kept secrets of my lifetime of being a VOL. A LOT of people knew about the round of golf and that he was effectively hired the weekend before Phil announced he would be "stepping down" at the end of the season.

Confirmation for the folks that keep saying we "can't have 2 head coaches".

He's explained the situation several times. His buddy is in the AD, he and his buddy were going to the game this weekend and have planned on doing so for months. Suddenly his buddy was asked to stay back this weekend.

CladInOrange will be surrounded by AD folks today and will ask anyone/everyone about the situation and report back.

EDIT: His buddy also text something along the lines of "expect good news" with a smiley. No more info came.
