Not sure what to make of this, but both of my “sources” have gone dead silent since midweek. I’ve been very cryptic in my few posts so as not to expose them. I’ve refused to post anything unless these 2 completely unrelated people tell me the same thing. Just very odd that they have both gone completely silent.

I don't find it odd that many sources have gone silent.

Holy moly...I was out of cell service for 6 days and this place is insane....waaaay to much to catch up. Can someone give me a quick synopsis?

Let's see....

Benton's bacon is the bomb.
Carbs are bad, fat is good.
Some stuff about bitcoin.
Couple drive-by Beaver shots.
Blackberry Farms meeting.
Doyle's Grudeometer got a Windexing and is functional again.

I'm sure others can fill in the gaps.

Where do you go to be out of cell service? They have a cell tower everywhere these days. Are you in Mississippi?:yes:

In Houston county near the lake people gather in the save a lot parking lot to make cell calls all the time. Lots of areas in rural Tennessee where there's very little cell coverage. U can get a signal in Erin though...

That's true! The grudeometer is probably the biggest news of the week. Went from the garbage to, what, 50% or something?

That's spectacular.

Yes, but work like them also. My Papaw's diet would horrify most nutritionists and yet he died peacefully in his sleep at 94 while not being sick a day in his life.

He could eat anything he wanted, could walk on his hands in his 80s, never fat, etc. You should have seen that man put away bacon, eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuit, country ham, red eye gravy, and so on.

I do think everyone is different though and you have to learn how your body responds. For me, the contrast between a breakfast of gravy and biscuits vs one of plain Greek yogurt, blueberries and honey is startling. Papaw would have skipped breakfast if presented with the yogurt option, but I feel awesome after eating it.

I agree. Listen to your body. I eat pretty much what I want. I'm 48, 6'1" and weighed in at 198 the other day. I'm solid but I work like a rented mule.

I try to eat whole foods. Peanut butter, processed cheese, bread, and the occasional piece of candy is about as bad as my diet gets.

I do eat fast food and love fried foods but you could never tell by looming at me or my bloodwork. My cholesterol levels have always been perfect.

I do eat a lot of honey, fruit, block cheese, steak, and chicken. Usually corn, greens of some kind, or sweet potato with them.

I just bought a new large burner camp stove to go along with my grill when I'm on the job site so that will give me a lot more options on food I can eat whole working. I'm pretty excited about it.

So I am so out of the loop about college football and the world in general since I am either working and/or trying to stay up to date with this thread that I had no idea GA was number one in the playoff rankings.
