Been watching these Gruden threads since 2012, but never posted in one until now. I’m not an insider, and definitely have no sources other than what I read in here. That said, I still remember the let down of seeing Butch standing at that podium, after I had foolishly believed everything that jack@$$ volreporter said. A lot of my friends think I’m crazy for believing he is coming, but they can STFU. These threads have been more exciting than this season. You Grudenites are awesome! Keep bringing the goods! SOON!

Completely off topic and I’m sure no one cares, but I just got approved for my life insurance today. Took two months and I didn’t think I’d get it. Am happy. 😊

One thing i took from the interview was Gruden mentioning he didn't have a guaranteed contract.

Good interview. Good sign he ducked the question. But the guaranteed contract thing was an interesting comment for sure. It was a joke. But you have to wonder if it's a reference to how much longer ESPN wants to sign his checks.
