Serious question? Its all over the place that Vol Fans crave Gruden and look at him as a savior. I even seen this very thread mentioned on the Sec Network.
Do you think that would turn Gruden off toward accepting the job thinking he could never live up to the Hype?

If anything I think it feeds the ole ego and motivates him to accept the job. He knows how bad the fans want him. He's a competitor. People with his personality don't expect to fail and you can guarantee if he is accepts the position he will not put himself in the position to fail. He'll hire a grand slam staff. If I was in his shoes, I would be watering at the mouth to go down in history as a football legend and that's exactly what he'll be if he wins a NC at the college level. He'll be 1 of 4 coaches to win a SB and NC.

Who really knows. It's all convoluted around speculation and making significant leaps of faith. But I guess that's why we're here.

He is a egomaniac he said: A NC is a tough task I have faith that his team would be at a elite level to compete for it year in year out and your right about being a legend if he wins a NC. Plus the opportunity to not only defeat Saben but dethrone him as college royalty
