Good stuff buddy. Thats what it's all about. Memories and Traditions. Lets just hope Ut makes them good memories and carried on winning traditions. Thats why us dads are here raising immortal hell until this **** gets fixed. Because we bleed one blood. ORANGE!!
On a side note I saw a rather large fellow last night in the murder Kroger riding in one of those "little rascal" mobile carts. He was hammered and kept running into the shelves. He also had an MIT fleece pullover on. I started laughing and ask my wife if he could be the Beaver. Almost took a picture of him, then I felt bad.
I'm in the same boat. I remember as a kid hanging on every series of UT football because we were always in the thick of things and putting up a fight in every game. Going to games as a kid, working concessions, and then sneaking out before/after halftime to stand at the tunnels and watch. Even though I probably shouldn't, I remember the championship game with FSU like it was yesterday. It's far too sad to think about what my son's experience with UT will be like if we don't do something soon.
Ah yes! I know who you are! Great to see ya here.
All I'll reveal is my last name. Starts with an H. Don't think there's another girl with that last initial on the softball team.
Tim James is doing his best to bringing back the glory days to ER. Starting with the colors.

All the Grudenites need to gather around and celebrate the incoming future of UT Football.
Currie: Id like to welcome the newest HC for the University of Tennessee, Mr. Jon Gruden.
Gruden: Thank you John. Well first off Id like to say that Im blessed to receive this opportunity to be your HC for the University of Tennessee. I always said that Tennessee was my dream job. Its very exciting to see a dream turn into reality. My wife and kids are also very excited to see their husband/dad to have this opportunity. I dont know if you know this but my son is a student here at the University of Tennessee so Im sure hes going to love seeing my face every day on campus. Ya know, I spent 9 year broadcasting Monday Football. I suddenly got the itch to get back into coaching and what better time to start than right now right? I realize UT has major expectations every year which youd expect from a high energy fanbase. I will say this though, were going to get back to the basics of football. Xs & Os you might say. Were going to be a smash in the mouth type football team thatll run down a defense. Me and my assistants are going to work our guys hard whether its just practice or in an actual game. We want to put our players in the best position to make plays. Connecting with young college players I feel, is the best way to get the most out of your guys. Obviously the rules and regulations in college are a lot different from what Im used to in the NFL. But itll be a learning process for me and Im confident I can succeed here at the University of Tennessee. You know me, I love to work and Im a huge nut when it comes to the game of football. Obviously its going to be a lot of work but thats ok with me. Im ready to get this show on the road so Ill answer any questions the media might have.
*UT Football comes relevant again on this very day.*
PS. I tried way too hard on this.![]()
Hi Pete
I didnt know that until recently. I graduated from ER in 81. He is a wonderful man and great principal. His youngest son, Greg was in my same class. I ran CC/Track for Coach Mickey Haddock back then. Do we know each other?
