Are any of you military guys/gals stationed in Alaska? If so we need to get together when the announcement is official and celebrate. Also, Happy Vets' day to you all.

I just want them to announce Gruden soon. I work with UGA, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Clemson, Bama folks and everyday they give me a hard time. One of them even taped the bashing on 680 fan today about us screwing the Patterson deal so he could play it for me. I can't wait to rub in their faces. Surprisingly the Fla folks have been rather quite.

On a side note I saw a rather large fellow last night in the murder Kroger riding in one of those "little rascal" mobile carts. He was hammered and kept running into the shelves. He also had an MIT fleece pullover on. I started laughing and ask my wife if he could be the Beaver. Almost took a picture of him, then I felt bad.

Is that the one by the old Limelight or the one on Ponce? I had a couple of late night scares at the Ponce Kroger.

ER - I just saw your follow up post. I thought it may be the Ponce Kroger. Lived in Grant park for 7 years. One night/morning at about 3 I had to make an emergency run for my 1 year old daughter. Almost got robbed and didn't think I was going to get out of there. Also got stranded there by gridlock one year during Freaknik.

I told myself I would enter the Gruden thread this time around with detached skepticism after 2012. That lasted maybe a week til the Beaver postings. I believe even more than I did last go around. Too many rumblings from sources across different channels to be mere wishful thinking. I truly hope Gruden is announced as our coach....he will be the hire that unites this fan base and university.

No idea on timing, but it seems like the lid is about to blow on this deal. If butch loses big Saturday, i wouldn't be surprised if it happens Sunday or Monday. I'm also interested to see how the Kendrick investigation plays into this.

It's a great time to be a Vol.

If he says no the dang psych wards will be packed out, lol.

Id like to believe just cant do it based on what im hearing.

I was told this afternoon another reporter wanting their 10 mins of fame.
