Gruden going back to Tampa would be like going back to an ex. Would you rekindle an old flame? Sure, for a like a week or 2. Then the same crap that came up during your relationship would come up again and it would just get messier.

Gruden and the Glazers might have made up, but that doesn’t mean he wants to go back to the people who died him.

lol. What does this even mean? Yes, KSU is also a hard place to recruit to. What point are you trying make here? Snyder certainly hasn't been any more successful than Mullen has.

How do you know he will get a recruiting bump? He is in one of the top ten states right now that puts out d-1 talent per capita and still sucks at recruiting. Overall they have put out more d-1 players than the state of Tennessee also.

Mullen is another Mark Richt. He’s a good coach but his cap will be 10 wins at UT. Very boring hire, not winning an SEC championship and much less a NC anytime soon. He might be 5th or 6th on my list

Mullen isn't beating UGa and UF on a consistent basis here. You say he is a good coach, his record says otherwise. He hasn't taken MSU to new heights. They are the same as they have always been. If Mullen was a good coach, a big P5 school would have already snagged him out of there.

Well he makes 4.5 million so there’s not many schools willing to pay to pull him away. Not campaigning for Mullen just saying he has a high price tag

He has absolutely taken MSU to new heights. They were #1 in the country for weeks a couple of years ago for Pete's sake. Mississippi State. That team was irrelevant before he got there.

I'm not saying he's at the Grude or Peterson or Gary Patterson level, but to act like he is another Butch Jones is ridiculous.

Chatter from a poster that a former Vol Staffer confirmed that Gruden had an offer and the ball was in his court.

PowellVolz then chimed in and said "believe that Gruden accepted offer this past Friday"
