I feel the same way. The administrative indifference since Kiffin left has left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. I hope the ship gets righted with this hire. Otherwise I might become solely a Maryville fan

I called the ticket office to try to get a scoop. I said do you think these tickets will still be available next Tuesday? She laughed and said I was the 6th person to ask that question this week. Presumably all from Volnation.

If they bought JG his own jet, there better be no talk of coach in waiting. That’s a long term commitment. CiW is like a prenup. Don’t want.

I'm not saying the deal will be announced on Monday, but Gruden loves him some WWE and well Raw is at TBA on Monday night...

I would think that Gruden would be announced on a Tues or Weds. I think he’d give his current employer enough time to get someone to replace him and still go through the normal weekend catch up with the teams on MNF. Just a thought. You may now rip apart my above statement

I respectfully disagree. I understand it is only his second year as a head coach, but he's already done things that Butch hasn't in his 11 years as a head coach...like turn a winless team into a winner, get to 10-0 (likely an undefeated regular season), and dominate teams with equal talent. I think Frost is going to be a big time hire for someone. I get the potential disappointment with hiring him and I'm 100% Gruden...but I do think of Frost as a potential championship coach.

I'm guessing that the coach in waiting idea is more about hiring coaches who have interest in being a head coach and the potential.

I would rather Saban retire, replaced by Mike Shula, again, because he's done so well at Carolina(really, honest, he's great...). Then UF can hire Ron Zook for no apparent reason. Kelly can piss of back to the PAC-12 and Fisher can take over at A&M, I'm ok with that. Oh and Smart takes a job in the NFL and is replaced by... MIKE BOBO!!!
