Everyone is saying Gruden will not coach at UT. The only problem with that is Jon Gruden has not said no. Kinda telling isn't it :rock::rock::rock:

Ainge bet his house it will be Frost.

I would be happy with Frost. The coaches that I think would be great at UT...in order.

1. Gruden
2. Peterson
3. Frost
4. Patterson

I think Gruden would have the biggest immediate impact for many different reasons and would obviously be the best bet to save/enhance the current recruiting class. I think all of them are great coaches with Peterson and Frost probably doing better as recruiters than Patterson. Just my opinion, but I think their personalities would go over better with recruits and their parents. I don't agree with folks who would be upset with a Frost hire. He took over an 0-12 team and have them undefeated in year 2. He passes the so-called "second year test" that many talk about with coaches. You don't have that kind of turn around unless you are a great coach.

Gruden is the clear #1, but any of those other coaches would get UT back to the top..IMO.

I want Mullen to go to Florida, Lane to Starkville, and of course Gruden to UT! I think that is the best case scenario.


Soon....we will all BOOM!

There’s no better way for Lane to end his career than to become a gator . think of the butts in the seats and the pure enjoyment of watching Gruden remind lane of how a Big Dog eats .

He could be using us as leverage in the Tampa job though. Never know. I remain hopeful on our end, but there's many reasons why he might not want to comment on it.
