You gotta think if Gruden isn't coming and sees all of the potential for a huge embarrassment that he would address the situation. With Cindy and his son having direct ties, I just cant see it.
 
Ok, so as bad as I want JG to be our new coach, after lurking these threads for a while, I am not convinced we have him.

My biggest hang-up is how do we deal with all of his endorsements? Does anyone have insight into NCAA requirements regarding coaches having endorsements? Do they even care? If they do care, how do they look at coaching hires when candidates have preexisting business relationships (i.e. endorsements) for the candidates?

Then, assuming the NCAA makes no concessions wrt endorsements, how does the University overcome that obstacle?
 
I’m afraid he’s gone if we don’t get Gruden. We’ll get several diamonds in the rough to boom to.

If we make a really good hire like Peterson or Patterson, may be even Mullen, I think Mays would stay. But getting the Matt Campbells and Mike Norvells of the world is a sure way to get a recruiting class outside the Top 20 this year.
