To your point, the flip-side is also true. If you had already purchased that gift for your child for Christmas and he was hot on the trail of discovering you had already purchased it, you would put up smoke and even flatly deny hou had purchased it to get him off the trail until Christmas day.

I've believed for over a month that the announcement would come this week simply because of the recruits coming this weekend. If it doesn't happen this week, I believe that get it done before those recruits leave campus next weekend.

I was thinking they announce it maybe at halftime of the egg bowl. That way ESPN could announce it with a captive full bellied audience. Most bang for the buck.
