I don't give a crap about people who claim to be insiders and I don't care about the chatter in the media. I find this thread entertaining and a source of hope. UT fans can use all the hope we can get right now.

And for the people making fun of our fanbase, we care about our team more than anybody in the country. Over 90,000 fans showed up to watch a guaranteed ass kicking by LSU -- in a cold, driving rain. The rest of the country can suck it.

I'm all in for Gruden until Currie says we've moved on --- or they have a press conference introducing him as our coach.

Specifically about MNF, I said IF there was a Sunday announcement (WHICH THERE WASN'T), that I wouldn't be surprised if they did something special for Gruden on MNF. Maybe go grab that set of post, I kinda felt like the tone was that you felt that your source led you to believe that an announcement could have come yesterday with a follow up on MNF, and I think someone even responded that they thought that was not what they were hearing from their sources and you stuck to your guns.

Regardless I do believe perhaps your posts read as if you heard it was happening Sunday and Today? Maybe you could have just posted quickly... no biggie but obviously more than one person was believing that is how you meant it.

Ok. Let's have a rational conversation:

1. Did you "guess" that Gruden would be hired Sunday?
2. Did you guess that would happen regardless of whether or not UT won or lost vs LSU?
3. Did you guess that Gruden would say something pro-UT on MNF?

If I'm off-base on the things you guessed, please let me know and I will own up to my mistakes.

Longer it is drug out I have begin to wonder. Do we not want a coach that wants to be here or a coach or we have to beg to come and he just toys with us to make him feel wanted and leaves us at the altar again. I want it to be Gruden but the longer nothing is shut down by Gruden or Currie our unhealthy program will continue to spiral downward

See.. this is the great thing about this thread.

I have read a lot of posts by this guy in other threads. Tbh I probably disagree with 50% of them.

But by him posting in here it turns out that we do have some things in common. I have enjoyed reading his posts and learning more about him.

That's the biggest gift that Gruden csn give this fan base, unite us again.

The terms negavol and sunshine pumper need to be gone forever.

I already looked back, sadly those posts have passed out of my history.

The fact is, I did hear a couple things that made me think we could very well have an announcement Sunday. But it wasn't anything solid, and certainly nothing I would put on the board. That's why I said that I had no solid info, and that my thinking on timeline was entirely my opinion.

I've been very clear about what's my opinion and what I consider fact. I'm absolutely comfortable with that.
