You think Kelly is worth $10Mil.? Really? He might be, but I haven't seen anything that would warrant that salary. His offense won't be enough in the SEC. Everyone is running it and it is being defended much better than it was 5-6 years ago. Sumlin runs it as well or better than Kelly and he's on the hot seat. I would rather have Sumlin because he can handle people. Kelly can't.

Not really sure what all this gibberish means but just pointed out that AV did not vet Beaver completely. We know AV is legit, we are not sure about the Beav but I do know AV didn't vet him completely. I don't need to go back and read anything because I have been here the whole time. I just want folks that haven't been here to not be mislead by some close but not quite exact info. That's all. If you think what AV said about him completely vetted him, that's fine. Carry on.

If you want to go that route, some of us are ok giving out 6-7 Million to an losing SEC Record coach like Mullen.

On an unrelated topic. I have a friend whose favorite player all time is Al Wilson. I got to introduce him to Al last night it was really fun to watch. As they were talking it hit me maybe we should send Al to get our next coach. He is one motivating TN loving machine.

Got the privilege of giving his SUV a jump a few years ago day after the Georgia game. Awesome guy to talk to! One of my all time favorite Vols!

I really feel bad for him. He just totally crumbles when he gets his shot. He might not ever get another one in the NFL. He never got another shot here. The thing is he's proven to be a good player he just has these horrific first game jitters. Sucks for him

What if in negotiating Butch's buy-out a commitment was made to Sexton that a certain number of his clients would be interviewed for the position.

Currie specifically said at the Butch firing press conference that Butch would be paid his full buyout per his contract.
