I think you are 100% correct. The issue will be the "legitimate hire". In my mind, a legitimate hire is Gruden, Saban, or Belichick. Not going to be content with anything else. Which of those three do you think is more likely?

There was a picture that popped up about an hour or so after the picture at Calhoun's. The former was of Gruden in Seattle. And it makes me sad to say it too because the prospect of Gruden meeting Manning in Knoxville would be big.

People were saying it was debunked because of the game on the tv in the background which started at 3:30 ET. What they forgot is that 3:30 ET would be 12:30 in Seattle. He would have had plenty of time to hop on a plane and be in Seattle when it was reported he was there. I still have a hard time believing it though. Someone would have gotten a pic of his face if he was there. We track planes, chase Currie around, etc. and nobody could get a pic of his face? I don't believe that for a second.

The COO also tweeted that people on his staff were specifically asked not to take pictures which would be weird if Gruden wasn’t there.

Wasn't he the guy at the airport on Thurs? If so, I would seek more sound sources. But it was hilarious, I give him that.

I think it would more important for Gruden to be announced as it relates to recruiting...whether he can name all of his assistants on day 1 or not.

In order for Gruden to hit the ground recruiting he may need the help of other coaches. Its been a while since he's been in the recruiting game.

1. Gruden was not at Calhouns yesterday.
2. Currie primarily flies commercial on UT business..guy is a hustler and should be respected for that.
3. No need to ever track wheels up planes those are not being used for UT business
4. The vast majority of meetings are NOT happening in any location that would “make sense” (Ie, Knoxville etc)
5. Great lengths have been gone into keeping the tail numbers etc that are being used different from ones that have really ever been posted in here before. Take into account my company alone has 5 planes now that may or may not be used all of which none of those tails are known...so imagine how many others are out there. Additionally usually the registration of said planes are done with essentially phony LLC’s in states other than where the planes are used or kept that have no connection to anything that could ever get traced back to an individual.
6. There is a sense of urgency to get this done as quickly as possible but you can’t force someone’s hand purely with $$$. If it were that easy we would have someone already.

I hope everyone who was able to go to game yesterday enjoyed the experience as much as possible. I was bummed that the weather sucked....first time in box for entire game for me in a long time.

I am around a bit today relaxing preparing to turn and burn for the holiday week...I wish each and everyone of you and your families a wonderful thanksgiving holiday. Take time to hug your wife, kids, and parents if they are still around. That’s what its all about.

I was wondering about that. I actually google searched pics trying to see if I could find a pic of a guy that looked like that with Peyton at the game. I couldn't come up with anything.

The most telling thing about Gruden being at Calhoun's IMO, is the complete lack of pictures. If Gruden was anywhere near Peyton Manning at a restaurant in Knoxville, everybody and their grandmother would be snapping pics. Remember when Gruden was in Knoxville for the SC game? Some fans snapped photos with him the night before when he was out. Now you have to think, at lunch time, in the middle of the day, Peyton Manning and Gruden together and with the abundance of smartphones. It just doesnt make logical sense that only 1 photo has surfaced of Gruden with his back turned.

He's been here a long time, gave people tickets this week, even replaced Faceless Arya's tickets that were screwed up in delivery with a terrace level experience. 100% for you? dunno man. Got to be close to that or it's a multi-player troll job.
I read when he posts- he's 100% vetted for me.
