Sorry but no. Currie has his target and if he turns us down ( I don't think it will be because of money or control), then he is smart enough to have a backup plan.

Guys having to make this decisions almost always have a backup plan. Save folks like Hart and Butt cheek. But I have to believe Currie is doing the real work this time. SOON! GRUDEN TO THE VOLS!

You still positive? If so I’m going to shotgun a keystone light right now

I'll bet you're thinking of my Exile twin :wink2:, but FWIW, I'm still positive.

If nothing else, we have a new administration and a BOT that looks willing to do what it takes to get Tennessee back to its rightful place in NCAA football!

That email is fake. It just says we will meet in the West skybox. There are multiple floors with multiple suites in the skyboxes. Not a single skybox.

If a firm owns one skybox on the West side, and one (or more) on the East side, they may use "the west skybox" as convenient shorthand.

You get to say "the mailbox" when talking to a family member, even though there are a ton of mailboxes on your street. Right?

Not unless the sender was simply referring generally to the skybox knowing that the email recipients would know what they were talking about. He also seems to be waiting for rsvps to nail down the specifics.

That was a letdown in the AV post for me. Those crazies tracking planes were hilarious while still lending the possibility of an elusive picture.

I hate that part is over now. It had a sitcom feel with dramedy potential.

Who says its over? Just don't tell Jon Reed and we have tons more entertainment!

This thread meets the criteria for a Borderline Personality Disorder diagnosis:

characterized by pervasive instability in moods, interpersonal relationships, self-image, and behavior. This instability often disrupts family and work life, long-term planning, and an individual's sense of identity.

Just the fact that he lost a car TWICE and missed the plane to go get snacks...platinum status for me as far as entertainment value.

And the fact Hubbs bought in...fantastic.

FWIW, she's the good looking one. I'm the long winded one.

Well the crazies at reddit still believe in tracking planes. Looking into Haslam planes that have been to Maryland recently.

I find it impossibly believable that UT would explicitly structure a contract, wherein Tee (or any coach, for that matter) would be penciled in as - In Waiting. Anyone who follows CFB understands the dynamics involved. Each season presents a different challenge with recruiting, internal and external demands, funding, available options, etc.

I have been clear about my thoughts on Tee before, and I don't understand the drool fest. I appreciate his time as a player, but he is unproven in being a solid position coach and coordinator, much less a head coach (in-waiting or otherwise).

I want "orange blood" throughout our great university, but I also want the best option available over having the same blood type. I look at the VFLs as being culturally competent, the ones who know what it means to be a Vol, and are willing to take all necessary steps to hold themselves and their players to that standard. I would take a VFL in every available position, hands down, but only if they are deserving of it. Just as an example, and I'm not picking, but we can do better than Tee for any position he may be in the running for.

Makes too much sense! Can’t believe that it would cause a hold up
