Non-Gruden Thread = People who would rather settle for mediocrity than take a chance on greatness.

I’m convinced some fans are afraid of hiring a big name coach because they have become so comfortable with underachieving that the thought of being in the spotlight scares them. They are the same people who love to use phrases like “young team” and “rebuilding year”. It’s easier to make excuses when you have a no-name coach to put the blame on. Blaming the coach has become their “safe-space”. If we have an elite coach, they don’t have anywhere to run when things don’t go our way. Owning up to a loss and admitting we got beat by a better team is too much for them to handle, so they are determined to hang on to their safe space where they can continue to avoid it.

don't shoot the messenger, dude on TOS is claiming Gruden and Manning are at Calhouns.....He is getting roasted by the way.

Ribs and Chicken I presume.

Before the Gruden threads, i was an absolute nobody on this board. Got made fun of a few times, talked down to, treated like i was an imbecile. I only had like 650 posts. Almost never posted because of it. Just lurked.

Here in the Gruden threads, i have found my tribe, my people, my home. Like-minded people who have accepted me for who I am. Thank you all for taking me in.

This has only happened to me 2 other times in my life.
1) In high school, i didn't fit with the preps (too poor), the jocks (wasn't too good a ball player tho i tried), the nerds (too dumb) or any other crowd. of all groups, the headbangers took me in. funny thing, the only common denominator there was the music. i've never drank or done any drugs or partied. but they let me hang with them. they were cool.
2) On January 5th, 1992, when i got saved by the good grace of God, the church accepted me into their family as well. Course, that didn't go over well with the headbangers, but whatareyagonnado?

Anyway, I like it here, and hope that if/when Gruden comes to UT, Freak does what he mentioned, and gives us our own dedicated thread/room to talk all things Gruden/UT.

People outside thread do not understand the fact we are all family . Family with a bond of hope. You fit right in as a leader for you are a true hope advocate. 😀👍

Been trying to catch up but I have a question? Honestly how many of u used the word dox before this thread?
It gets used every other post now but I would wager before, not so much..lol
