Some of y'all are too kind.

Before the Gruden threads, i was an absolute nobody on this board. Got made fun of a few times, talked down to, treated like i was an imbecile. I only had like 650 posts. Almost never posted because of it. Just lurked.

Here in the Gruden threads, i have found my tribe, my people, my home. Like-minded people who have accepted me for who I am. Thank you all for taking me in.

This has only happened to me 2 other times in my life.
1) In high school, i didn't fit with the preps (too poor), the jocks (wasn't too good a ball player tho i tried), the nerds (too dumb) or any other crowd. of all groups, the headbangers took me in. funny thing, the only common denominator there was the music. i've never drank or done any drugs or partied. but they let me hang with them. they were cool.
2) On January 5th, 1992, when i got saved by the good grace of God, the church accepted me into their family as well. Course, that didn't go over well with the headbangers, but whatareyagonnado?

Anyway, I like it here, and hope that if/when Gruden comes to UT, Freak does what he mentioned, and gives us our own dedicated thread/room to talk all things Gruden/UT.

Jon David Gruden ... come on down!

I loved you when you absolutely would not give up until you figured out how to post gifs and then when you got it - it was awesome! I love your spirit, your sense of fun, your directness, and your love for our Vols.

That's what's special about you and, I think, most everyone in this thread. Family.

Alright alright alright...

My wife has made beer bread, a full bottle Ole Smokey Salted Caramel Whiskey, and some reenergized VOLS football about to come on!

Let's go boys, break the shackles that Botch had you in.
Escape from the negativity and dark cloud that he put over this glorious program.
Represent the name on the back of those jerseys, give your all for the Power T on those helmets..play for each other, pop those cats in the mouth and make sure they know who's house they entered.
It's a new dawn in Tennessee....bring the pain!

Dude, watching (cheering) you learn how to post gifs (jifs to some others) was an event to behold. Thanks for sharing some of you!

We love you preacher. When I look back at the gruden threads, one thing I will always remember is you trying to figure out how to do gifs. :)

After following this thread for several weeks I have come to the conclusion that we are all collectively nuts. From sources that are connected then not connected and then connected again. Politics, legal arguments, playful name calling with and without vulgarities, a short stint regarding the validity of vaccinations and of course my personal favorite airport FBO stalking. I love this place and applaud everyone who contributed (even Mullenites). Keep the faith VN. Soon....

We'll love you in so many different ways, you're bound to find one you like, with that comes torture should you make a wrong move. Welcome, Gruden Soon!
