Living in Tuscaloosa, this reminds me of when Saban (no, I am not making a S/H comparison). Everyone hated the hire. The wailing, moaning and gnashing of teeth all sounds the same. It worked out pretty ok

What a pathetic excuse to not hire Kiffin or even Freeze or even Jeff Fisher... I’d rather have the potential of hiring someone all year, and next year even, than to settle... paying your 10th option big bucks to a multiple year contract is wayyyy more pathetic than the idea that somehow letting Kiffin come back and dominate would be viewed as pathetic.
