Find another team with a fan base you approve of then. The statement was made under oath. Even if not true it damages our reputation and will definitely result in hurting our program even more than it has fallen to. Plus what has he done to warrant getting the job? Lose Lose on all sides with this hire. I would take a 4th level coach over this mess that Currie has now gotten us into. It's ultimately his fault for even considering someone with this baggage! Blame Currie and not the fans!!

Schiano's involvement in covering up the Sandusky scandal wasn't just some "headline." There was sworn testimony saying Schiano saw the rape and did nothing.

Do you really believe Mike McQueary would risk a perjury charge just to stick it to Schiano?

Currie authorizes strategic leak before announcement knowing what the backlash would be, forcing Schiano to withdraw his name thus thwarting Haslam's plan. just GS being associated with Sandusky, in any way, says where there's smoke there's fire...right, or wrong, and I don't get why he would be hired as a HC at UT...ok, he had some success at Rutgers...so what...this is Tennessee...we can do better...this hallowed institution deserves better...:salute:
