How was The Ohio State University able to hire him as their DC and there not be a major shlt storm? Is our internet or our morals that much better than theirs?

I'm sorry, where in the Sandusky report does it talk about Schiano being a terrible head coach and a terrible hire? Because that's what matters here.

Buck the report. I find it very hard to believe that any of those coaches on that staff didn't know what was going on. We need to steer clear, make a uturn and run in the opposite direction from this guy. He won't be accepted well here.

Only posting this because it's already on top: please DO NOT reply to any thread that supports Schiano. We'll be getting a lot of outside visitors, maybe even people in the AD watching. We need them to see loud, angry dissent and nothing else.

Testimony under oath says Schiano was aware, that is good enough in my book. What reason would he have to lie? Also speculation is good enough for any parent to not want their son to enroll here at the University. As a parent would you want your child under the care of someone who could potentially have covered up a sexual assault?

It doesn't take much intelligence to see that a coach has a losing record as head coach.

Keep white knighting all you want on this issue.

Schiano still has a LOSING RECORD as a head coach.

Wins and losses are ultimately all that matter regardless of which side of the fence you lean towards. Schiano is a .500 Big East coach who rode Ray Rice's success. He is a cliche machine as well (chopping wood). Why pay Butch $8million so you can go after this guy? Tenn isn't a top 5 program, but they are great enough to aim higher.

How is it that any issues with Schiano are insignificant until he is being considered for the Head Coach position at The University of Tennessee?

Where have all of these people been while he was a head coach in the NFL, or as an assistant at OSU?
