Every other coach will be handing out copies of Washington Post Schiano article on recruiting visits.

Such bs, we’re a 2nd tier program if we can’t hire a current head coach with promise. Rutgers and Cincy head coaches... any difference?

A mediocre to below college coach, failed NFL coach, known bully and controversies surrounding his anger issues and dirty style along with player abuse. Oh, and he also looked the other way when Sandusky was raping people. If he is the hire I'll be logging out of here until he and the entire administration is fired. Good luck to everyone over the next 3-5 years.

If Manning and Fulmer were involved in the coaching search, and gave Currie their seal of approval on Schiano, then they can *uck right off as well.

If he was the best coach we could get, it is what it is and I would suffer through him like I did Dooley and Jones... but with his association with Sandusky, I will no longer support, attend, or watch Tennessee Athletics as long as he is a part of the University.

It's not who most delusional fans wanted...

But he is a great football coach and time to get behind him. He is the best Tennessee could get. And a good fit for what Tennessee needs.

Greg Schiano is not a great football coach, not even by the broadest definition of the phrase that is possible in the english language, or any language in human history.

Look guys, Tennessee needs Schiano what he did building up Rutgers was amazing. And right now that's where Tennessee is.... a bottom feeder in the SEC. The guy is an amazing coach and recruiter.he can turn Tennessee around and the best hire Tennessee has made.

So grow up or get out. Support him and he can win big!

He has been vetted and cleared of a statement written under duress from a memory 20+ years ago an

Go Vols glad to have someone who is a legitimate HC for Tennessee with the toughness needed to turn things around.

A Schiano hires proves Currie is content living in the SEC cellar. There is NO possible way to spin this as a positive.
