This. I hope everyone will make use of Curries contact info that has been made available on this site. I would personally consider not hiring Greg Schiano every bit as important as firing Butch Jones.

It was always Schiano. He's the cheapest with no buyout. His players say he has "small man syndrome" and he covers up sex crimes. Checks every box. Haslam picked him out and everything Currie has done since has been just for show.

Currie knows anyone not named Jon Gruden is going to get backlash from the fanbase.

I personally think not going after Les Miles is a mistake.

Tennessee cannot lure away a successful current HC of a power 5 school and Florida or Nebraska is getting frost.

So that leaves Norvell, Campbell, and Schiano

Campbell 9 million reasons why no

Norvell hasn't shown enough to be the 4th hope he can handle it hire

So that leaves Schiano or a bunch of wildcard assistants

Ok for anyone who thinks that Schiano is a legitimate option, can we use the same logic we have with other candidates? Does anyone know of any actual contact between UT officials and Schiano or his representatives ?

I did. I didn't see one that mentioned any meetings or negotiations or that the man has ever set foot in the state of Tennessee. Doesn't mean it's not happening but I'm still not buying it.

Yea nothing official yet. Will heat up tomorrow night after the games are over for the regular season.

All of them have Schiano as the guy to watch according to sources at the athletic department

It's in Iowa States best interest not to have a coach who wants to be somewhere else. It Campbell wants UT it will get done. Maybe Campbell pays part of the buyout, ISU reduces it some and we agree to a home and home. It's happened before.

Once again does not say it’s down to those two. Those words are never stated. Only says those two have been mentioned. Doesn’t even say the only ones mentioned. Trying to fit a narrative that doesn’t exist
