Official Greg Schiano thread

The fact that fans are associating him, wrong or right, with the Penn St. stuff mean that the University would have a PR hurdles to overcome. And judging their previous record I don't think they would be competent enough to handle that very well.

Ok I have read it did you?

What did he actually see????

I know most people have thoughts enter their heads.... but did it say he saw something sexual?

Edit: for those lazy it does not say he saw a sexual act being preformed. Just something disturbing. And no reference to what he might have done after....

Come on, don't be an idiot. Do you not believe that Sandusky was raping boys in the locker room? What do you think he saw Sandusky doing to a boy in the shower, reading him a story? You either believe that he never saw Sandusky doing anything wrong or you just don't believe Sandusky did anything wrong. What's wrong with you?

He was so good at Rutgers he got Rutgers invited to the Big10

No

The big east was so bad that it dissolved football...... And all teams went elsewhere.

He wasn't even around when Rutgers joined the B10 in 2014........he left in 2011.

Furthermore, if one thinks Schiano is a good coach, explain to me how he never won a conference championship during his tenure? Hell I'd be willing to excuse his first few seasons, but spending 11 years at a program and not even clinching a Big East championship is telling. Also in 11 years he is 4-16 against top 25 teams and his last top 25 win was in 2009.

I don't claim to know unlike some people on here and accuse guilt without any knowledge.

He hasn’t been accused of a crime. Just of not stepping up like a human. Next.

We don't know that either.... read the article it sites a reaction in passing....

Another example of your mind making up what happened or didn't happen.
Because it didn't stop then your mind is putting it because Schiano didn't act on info that you don't even know what he is claimed to see.

See how crazy that is?

We know nothing that even if true what Schiano did about it.

No they won't.

Just psychos

Because if he is hired Tennessee vetted him like Ohio state did

So let me see if I understand this correctly. You think that the media will ignore this part of his history?

The same media that continues to rehash the Peyton Manning mooning incident?

That is what you are going with?

There is no coach mentioned in association to our opening I want less than Schiano. Would 100% rather bring Kiffin back, hire Norvell, Brohm, Taggart, Venables....anyone.

Still holding out hope on Frost, Petersen or Mullen. We get below that and we are set back again imo.

exactly. After TN's issues with Title IX... national media would blow this up.

You don't seem to understand that what he saw doesn't matter. What he did doesn't matter. He is a coordinator at Ohio State. Not the face of the program. It is completely different. The burden of perception is completely different.

There are better candidates available without those questions and UT will not risk it.

Yea because they have nothing to report based on the information reporting it would be slander and defamation of character and would have law suits.

Because there is nothing that can be backed up or proven.... it's one man's word written under duress trying to remember 20+ years before in a passing sighting

Vs Schiano who denied it that it wasn't him.

Said ACCUSED. Not interested in an investigation. Just want a coach. Pass!

Thank you! How many different ways does this need to be stated?
