Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

This is where our class stands. Even now, we are underrated because this is based solely on star ratings...with zero consideration for WHERE those 5* guys will be used. Example being our #1 ranked nationally QB is only given the same weight as a 5* Guard or Safety elsewhere. In reality...the QB is THE most important position on the field. Followed by OTackles to protect them, and Edge rushers to sack the QB. These are also the highest paid and most wanted guys in the NFL. This could turn out to be our best Oline class since Fulmer...and as the article states could also turn out to be THE highest rated class EVER at UT if we manage to beat out UGA, Mich, OSU, etc for 3 or 4 more of these Top100 recruits.

Is it? Hmm

Little precious has a natural obsession
For temptation, but he just can't see
She give him loving that his body can't handle
But all he can say is, "Baby, it's good to me"
One day he goes and takes a glimpse in the mirror
But he doesn't recognize his own face
His health is fading and he doesn't know why
Three letters took him to his final resting place

Three letters = HIV

The song is about not chasing after things that can lead to your own ruin (sex or money). Or uphill hikes in 90+ degree weather...

Ha! I remember the chorus and that's about it. I obviously figured it wasn't about chasing waterfalls....

Wife showed me he printout of all of the plumbing fixtures she picked out yesterday. HOLY CHIT! There is no flipping reason this ish should cost that much.
Dude. I had someone spend an additional 7k on fixtures over what it should have cost because they wanted a specific gun metal color.
Just the master bathroom.
The shower arm was 95$. Brushed nickel was 13$

So...recently ON3 bought Rivals. So now they are 1 company. Rivals put out their new rankings today....and our #1 ranked QB Faizon who just finished 1st at the Elite11 finals....fell to a 4* on rivals. LMAO.

They also have our other current 5* player on 247...Gabriel Osenda...ranked a 3*. Yes they demoted him to a 3*. He is 6ft7in and 340lbs as a junior in HS and dominates. So on Rivals/ON3 we now have NO 5* guys and our class is ranked 15th. Lmao. Rivals has been irrelevant for many years and disregarded by most....but for ON3 to get in the mud with them is just stupid . Link below

Wish I had taken a before picture of this deck. I built it in 2012 or 2013 at one of my boss' houses. He neglected it and never did anything to protect it from the weather. When i looked at it a couple weeks ago, i told him to just buy new decking boards and handrail and I would remove and replace them all. He wanted to try this Cabot Deck Correct stuff first because he is gonna sell the house. Its like really thick paint. So I caulked the worst cracks then applied 1 coat plus touch up. It looks really good compared to what it looked like before. It looked like a deck with zero shade/trees around it that was abused for 12 or 13 years. Anyway heres a couple pics...

"THats whats great about this game. Talking season is almost over...its time to tee it up and go play."

Sounds like a coach and a team that have a chip on their shoulder from being picked 9th and 10th in the SEC and barely in the top 25. I sure hope so. They should. Hope we shove it right down their freaking throats too. My prediction is the same as with Nico...9-3. We will win one we arent supposed to, and lose one on the road that maybe we should've won.

GO VOLS DAMMIT

Looks great in the big picture. Were you happy how it looked in the details?

Yeah I was impressed. It isnt magic...but its far more effective than a coat of regular paint. Also, when you caulk something and only apply 1 coat of regular paint, the caulk joint looks shiny through the paint and doesnt look good. This stuff is so thick that it covers caulk with no shine showing through. It fills in minor cracks too. I caulked the bigger cracks and filled the smaller cracks with the paint. I rolled everywhere that I could 1st with the longest nap rollers I could find at lowes...then cut in and back brushed the cracks between the decking boards from where they shrunk after building the deck. It wasn't that bad though...easier than removing all the decking boards and replacing them for sure. I did have to remove all those metal spindles though...2 screws top and 2 at the bottom of each. Those spindles are great though. If they had been wood I would have surely had to replace them after 12 or 13 years. Anyway, hope this helps. This product isnt magic, but it definitely turned out better than i thought it would. I caulked the butt-end joints where 1 board meets another also, it made the deck surface look much more uniform even though the joints were only about 1/8th inch. If it were my house and i was gonna have high traffic on it with people sliding chairs around etc, I would probably roll another coat on the floor. The 2nd coat would take far less product and be more resistant to scratching etc.
