Again, the greenhouse effect was demonstrated in 1859. We know for a fact that the increase in atmospheric CO2 is due to human CO2 emissions. There are numerous independent predictions from AGW theory that have proven correct.

So not only are these ****wads not allowing production of older stoves that are pretty efficient, they mandate production of the unicorn style wood stoves. And furthermore, they mandate you cannot trade in or resell your old model. And not to be confused with your other ****wad environmentalists that want to ban wood burning all together:



And not to be outdone, the State level ****wad EPA groups decided the Federal EPA is too soft.



When will you and the rest of the environmentalist crowd be happy? When humans are extinct and we can't pollute the planet any longer? When a family freezes to death because their old wood stove goes out and they can't afford a new one?

Fabulous “gotcha” post. Boy you’ve been crabby lately...

First off, those new EPA regulations won’t apply to existing wood heaters (or fireplaces) so it’s not all doom and gloom for the rural folk.

Secondly, I do not “champion” my “glorious” EPA. I’ve openly criticized Obama’s new power plant regulations as well as existing EPA regulations. Like many democrat policies, they have good intentions but go about it all in remarkably inefficient (and sometimes entirely ineffective) ways.

And Tyndall concluded the principle green house gas in the atmosphere controlling temperature is water vapor and that the other gases are fairly insignificant.

When you say "ever" what do you mean? The US Weather Bureau wasn't established until about 1890 so to claim that there has never been a February as cold as 2015 seems to not be entirely accurate. The coldest record temperature in February for Memphis was -11 degrees in 1951. I have no idea what the average for February was.

Obviously there were February's that were colder during the ice age. Ever=ever recorded and February is a month with 28, sometimes 29 days. When you add up all the temps for the lower 48, devide it by 28-29 days, you get an average temp and that average is forecasted to be one of the coldest recorded

Thursday-Friday is going to be one of the coldest days in decades

The bolded is funny because it's pretty dang clear to everyone that solar/wind enjoy subsidies. And this stuff is rampant throughout various media sources. Let's take the European Wind Energy Association's statement and print it without a lick of questioning.

Argue the financials of building a plant all you want. But for the wind industry to claim no subsidies is bonkers. I would laugh if it backfired and removed all subsidies.

While the East is experiencing a cold winter (at the moment; Knoxville has only been moderate until now), the West is experiencing record highs. Salt Lake City has been 16 degrees above normal this year.

Here's something that will help you understand global warming a bit better:

Just because it may be cold one place does not mean it's cold everywhere. Avg. temps worldwide have been increasing, generally speaking.

But, yes, Boston has gotten a lot of snow this year.
