Maybe if it was a hindcast instead of a forecast your link would have been relevant. What did the Norwegians say about that morning’s temperature? All sources indicate the North Pole did in fact get up around the melting point.

The chart wasn’t produced by Ryan Maue, though he did tweet about it.

I have no real beef with Maue other than the fact that he works for notable climate denier Joe Bastardi. At least he's educated. Maue does try to downplay climate change sometimes and comes off as a dick. Nothing nearly as ridiculous as Bastardi, though (as far as I know)

The planet, I am given to believe, is about 4.5 billion years old.

Funny how the worst years for hurricanes typically have not happened in the past 20 years, despite being years with the worst climate change! Mind blowing I know

Although it’s cold outside, the U.S. did just have its 2nd hottest year on record. But to answer your (first) question: most of the warming goes into the oceans.
