Just making the tourney isn’t considered a success to Ziti

Not true. But I would like to see us do our best.

Unlike some here I’m not setting myself up for an 8-10 and we barely make it in kind of season.

I don’t look ahead to the next game and talk about how it would be an ok game to lose or lost excuses for us losing before it happens.

And I’m not overly emotional and change my stance based on 1 or 2 games...preseason everyone on this board agreed making the dance would be considered a major success, to me that’s still the case.

I would love to see us do better and I think we could, but I also am not going to lose sight of what would be a successful season and another step in the right direction for Rick Barnes.

Ziti

I don't understand your post. What do we mean making it to the weekend?

Yeah. No doubt.

Doesn’t mean we should start hedging before every game. Trying to grease the skids for a possible loss. Loser mentality imo.

Still, we collapse and limp in to the dance it’s not gonna go unnoticed. There’s different degrees of success.

Come on man. This team is very young and was always a bubble type team we hoped. Anything more should be seen as way overchieving.

I’ve said many times just get to the dance. You get to the dance then anything can happen.

I don’t want to see us limp in but I am also love making the tourney.

Then we agree. Making the dance would be one hell of a success for such a young roster. Doesn't seem right to become critical since they vastly over achieved in the early season especially considering this conference is deep and the best it's been in many years.

I’ll wait til the end of the season to make a judgement.

I don’t like saying “we make it in then no matter what it’s a huge success” cause things aren’t always so cut and dry.

What games are you "ok" with us losing then?
