I just don't get the thinking that we need to be some elite team now that runs off a bunch of these wins in such a tough league. It's not like you or anyone else was calling us to be an elite team at any point until we start losing these games to all top 50 type teams.

Grow, develop and over achieve is what this team has done so far. Seems like it should be fun to follow to me. Future looks dang bright to me.

For someone with your track record, that would seem like an convenient way to find error in the overall goal. If we make the NCAAT, this season was a success. That is cut and dry. It would seem like you're simply setting up your defense for criticizing the coach for not overachieving enough. Basically, you're looking for a way to find failure.

I just don't buy the limping in angle matters.

Seasons have ebbs and flows just look a Florida this year. Just an awful stretch but appear to be ready to content for the SEC.

Maybe a better example of "limping" down the stretch was South Carolina last year. Just a really bad finish but we know that didn't matter.

You have to look at the season as a whole and if we make the dance it was a dang good year. There shouldn't be any arguing that at all.

So the NCAA team sheets include Sagarin, but I don’t like his ratings right now. Still seem to have his preseason ratings weighted in. I’d think at this point in the year they would be excluded all together. Yesterday Tennessee just popped above 30. In his “recent” rating which of course doesn’t have any preseason ratings, Tennessee is ranked 17th

Yeah, 12 for sure. Probably 13.

Which is within reason. Pretty crazy, would have thought even talking about the possibility of a 3 seed was absurd preseason

It should be but expectations will be off the charts next year. With how some in this group view basketball as a win every game pretty sport to be good it might be rough around here.

I bought Nashville NCAA tickets a while back. I am super pumped. I will be there for the Friday Sunday games. Anyone know more details? Seed matchups? Or does that stuff come out when the bracket does.
