WOW Bro I'd love to have a round by round and what you think... Mayweather gets 32 mill for this fight...
Boxing sure needs this

I got you for the round by round, disagree that boxing needs this though. Mayweather is an all time great fighter but not in the way that will attract fans. His genius is his defense and it doesn't make for exciting fights.

Sliding scale for that, especially with the main event for a ppv fight but they're generally basing their prep off the fight before going the distance.

Plus they may have had to resuscitate lil Wayne backstage from a purple drank seizure.

Round 1: Typical slow start, decent body punches in the clinch from RG. Real early but FM standing very still by his standards. Best punch of the round by RG so far. Close, slow round to start. Probably 10-9 for RG.

Round 2: Better footwork from FM in this round, more like him. RG still with probably the better/best punch of the round but better jab work from FM so far this round. Tough to judge but probably 10-9 for FM.

Round 3: Not much so far in this round, mostly good defense by both but you can see FM getting more comfortable and fighting like he normally fights. Best punch of the round was a straight left by FM. Easy 10-9 for FM.

Round 4: Don't know what FM was doing, whether if it was deliberate or ring rust during the 1st but FM is moving like what you're used to seeing now. Side to side, in and out. RG with a great right hand but FM counters with a big left. Another straight right from FM right through RG's guard. Good inside fighting from both guys. Still at 36 FM hands are just faster. Decently close but fairly easy 10-9 for FM.

Round 5: RG starts with good body work but FM is doing a good job of clinching and forcing a stop from the ref. Malinaggi is right on the announce team, FM looks to have figured out RG's timing so far. Good punch from RG but FM still too quick and only takes one punch from an attempted 3 punch combo. Right hand, both straight and hooks, starting to find their mark from FM. 10-9 for FM.

Round 6: Not much early on, lot of missed and blocked shots so far. Almost an even round and then FM lands one flush right, not any real damage but best punch of the round and takes another round. 10-9 FM.

Round 7: More of the same so far, FM on the ropes still manages to miss the best shots and smothers most of the work that RG appears to be doing. Hard to really say much about that round but, out of generosity I'll say 10-9 for RG but that's half hearted at best.
