I wouldn't think there is an appropriate age. If you have a heart arrhythmia that can be fixed with ablation then I would think it can be done at any age. I have never seen someone under the age of say 20 or so have it done though.

It's usually a combo of a steroid, an antihistamine and sometimes an antibiotic. It's different for different folks. A typical antibiotic doesn't always work the same for everyone. Same, with the steroid. Antihistamines are pretty general and affect most people in the same way. So, the cocktail will vary depending on how it affects any one individual. The antibiotic or the steroid may have to be changed or adjusted in each case.

Kenalog is the only sinus shot that works for me. Sol medrol and Benadryl are used in combinations for allergic reactions.
