I tend to try to be objective, though Gramps thinks I'm crazy. Trump had a few great moments even though I'm not a huge fan. But he also showed how easily he can be provoked and fall back into the name calling and childish banter. It's expected of Cruz to be a dick, though he had a few moments that made me chuckle. Rubio snuck in a couple of hits (the yoga comment was good) but failed miserably in the back and forth with Trump. It's just not his style.
Kasich snuck in a hit on Trump at the end, but stays above the banter and makes his case of being the most "Presidential" on the stage.
You have as much man love for Little Marco as I have despise for the Canadian.
Unlawful orders are not valid but I don't recall the ones Trump would give. Please expand. Lawful policies are not unlawful orders, by the way.

If Trump were president and ordered the commander of USSOCOM to launch a raid to kill a terrorist and also kill his family that is an unlawful order. Ordering military personal to conduct torture is an unlawful order.
From Tom Nichols Who is a naval war college professor.
"Seriously, Trump has just vowed that he will order the US military to commit war crimes, and that they will not resist. All you people confidently predicting impeachment if Trump ordered the military to commit war crimes: Not so fast.
Congress would have to decide it does not have the latitude to interfere in the President firing his own military chiefs. This assumes, by the way, that Congress even *knows* what the President ordered.
Military would have to go to the Hill. In other words, Trump would give illegal orders, and his chiefs would have to provoke a massive civil-military crisis.
This is dangerous on so many levels. Trump has vowed to turn the White House into a military junta."

In all seriousness, that is close to where the electorate is. GOP voters hate the establishment losers as much as the democrats. "The opposite" of Romney and McCain must be considered as a possibility. It's the perfect explanation for Trump. Trump would not be possible without the combination of Obama and vapid republicans like McConnell and Boehner. The right is sick and tired of losing. So, Trump doesn't fit the perfect conservative model...but he's a winner and winning is something they are very hungry for.
Is something Trump is proposing in violation of the UCMJ or some other controlling authority? Who is a terrorist? Maybe it is the wife if she is complicit, aiding and abetting. Lawful orders are dependent on policy and context.
