10-2!
Wishful hoping... lol
6-6 is likely an accurate forcast all things considered. However this is what I hope will happen, and kinda think might happen if the players are committed, if coach Dooley is as he seems an intelligent coach, and if the assistants are what they are touted to be.6-6 Win one we shouldn't and lose one we shouldn't.
should make for an interesting season. urban has had some talented experienced teams. this year not so much.(experience) not a slight here but we'll all really get to see how good of a coach he is in 2010 with such a youthful squad. more transition in gainesville (coaching/players) than in athens.
i just think the gators are a little overrated @ #4 with all the questions.
completely missed it. i'm inclined to agree with Tony Barnhardt....and I quote....
FIVE NEW COACHES WHO WILL STRUGGLE
1. Derek Dooley, Tennessee: Dooley inherited a bad situation that has gotten progressively worse with injuries and other issues. The schedule is brutal. Five wins would be a very good season.
now, one of those 5 could be a victory over GA. but with our new defense and our kicking game i'd be surprised if it came to be. i expect Richt and staff to be very prepared for this contest. even more so after last years loss. but i do understand the volnation's confidence considering the last 4 years. i think most are clinging to that "the best team doesn't always win concept" and rightly so in this case. imo, that all changes this year.
Florida has nearly '70" freshmen and sophomores. I wouldn't pencil in the gators playing for the SEC just yet.
Coaches on the hot seat; new coaches who will succeed, struggle | Mr. College Football
4 seniors on the OL... 5 seniors on the 2 deep of the DL, 3 Srs in the 2 deep at LB, 2 former All americans in the secondary, 3 RBs with over 1000 yards in their careers, a 4th year Junior QB, exactly what part of Florida is young and inexperienced?
