Honest question, just curious, but if Gundy does turn the job down at 6mil or how much ever. Could other coaches that would still be considered ask for a little more dough before they accept the job? Considering we offered 6 to Gundy.

no, he's not. that moniker was established when he tried to cram schiano down our throats.

now we're in a position of not having any leverage, and having to over spend---on anyone we want to hire at this point.

but, gundy is a top 15 coach, and if you have a legit shot at getting him, especially after this schiano nonsense, you do what you gotta do. you don't have a choice if you want to land a coach of that caliber.
