Average coach who plays in a crap conference. Didn't start making his way up the Big 12 till Texas crapped out.

No way he is worth the money, no way he wins the SEC, no way he wins the SEC East.

Why are some of you so concerned over what we pay Gundy if he comes? Are YOU paying his salary? All things considered, if this is what it takes to get a quality coach in here, then this is what it takes! If we were prepared to belly up to the bar for a 300+ million dollar stadium renovation, investing 8 million a year for a coach that can come in here and win is a damn good investment.

He'd certainly be overpaid, but it wouldn't be crazy. I think Mullen at 6M is worse

Gundy is not worth 8.4MM. This is insane. I'd rather have Norvell for half price, Kiffin as OC and Steele as DC at 1.5MM each.
