Since last summer, I have been trying to convince people the the Oline would not have a great year playing 1st and 2nd year starters... AND THAT DOESN'T MEAN THE THEY WON'T BE AWESOME.
They just needed time to grow up. For example: the best offensive lineman in the country in 2011 DIDN'T EVEN START UNTIL HIS 3rd year! He redshirted as a Freshman.

Kalil earned first-team All-America honors from The Associated Press and Yahoo! Sports/Rivals.com among others. He anchored a line that allowed only eight sacks all season. Kalil will bypass his final year of eligibility to enter the 2012 draft, and he's projected to be the first offensive lineman selected.
