Offensive line problems

Only 17 points, got to be kidding! Gators will beat us if we can't score 24 against them and hold them under 21.

I'm going to disagree. I thought they played better today than they have so far this season. There were good lanes at times and timed up well with the RBs who hit'em just right for some big runs. Good protection most of the game.

It's a huge work in progress to go back to a power run game. Today was a step in the right direction.

I know they like Jahmir Johnson... but his mistakes are killing the O. Carvin didn't seem to make many mistakes today. Ryan Johnson looked improved. Most of the negative OL plays I saw were over 58.

Honestly, I thought they look improved over last week. They rushed for about 350 ish yards and Guarantano looked like he had more chances to throw in this game. They definitely are not perfect by any means but this was a better game from them.
JG had a good game. But they gave him time in the 2nd half. He missed a couple of big opportunities. It was pretty obvious though that Pruitt stubbornly wanted to see production in the run game.

And he proceeded to miss his receivers over and over. These guys have no identity and I don't think JG is a guy that really exudes confidence. The Oline may block great one play and then blow it on the next. The play calling doesn't seem any better. I'm tired of them lining up and looking to the sideline. Call a play, execute it with confidence. They were lining up Wood-Anderson and Bumphus and going heavy on one side and still weren't moving the pile much. Not hiring a veteran OC is going to look like a bad move by Pruitt. Helton did not deserve the money considering his lack of experience.

I guess they are terrible but we did run for 345 yards today 6.9 per carry. Chandler makes them look good and some of the other running backs make them look bad.

He was 75% passing today 12/16. I don't think he missed over and over again.

Add Richmond to that and you ve got the most of it covered.

We looked better this week, but Drew Richmond is struggling. Dude had 4 penalties and a couple of them were pretty big, including the one that took away a touchdown (and was completely away from the ball). Feel like we should be getting more reps for Marcus Tatum or maybe even trying out Nathan Niehaus at RT.

Ryan Johnson played very well today, so happy about that. He struggled a bit versus West Virginia, but looked great today.
