David Cutcliffe used his running backs and he knew just what to call. If you look at the success he had here, then you would want him back. He mixed things up all of the time, and he knew when to throw it. He loved the roll out passing with Tee Martin. He knew he had the receivers to catch it. After the fumble against Arky in 1998, go look what he called. It worked. We shined on offense.
Because odds are that's what is going to happen. We aren't Alabama. We aren't plucking an NFL assistant or a top assistant from another big school. The "biggest name" guy Pruitt is likely to get is Dan Enos.I feel like these random sites are just going through finding guys Pruitt used to coach with and naming them as potential replacements
Kendal Briles?
While I agree with you, I'm just saying there's a lot of people on twitter after E-cred. I also think you're giving too much credit in think Enos would be hired. Tennessee will do what Tennessee has done since it hired Bruce Pearl, go cheap and hope its a home runBecause odds are that's what is going to happen. We aren't Alabama. They could get Enos somewhat affordably. Would be more expensive than promoting from within, but certainly not breaking the bank. While I agree with you, I'm just saying there's a lot of people on twitter after E-cred.
